Exercise Physiology

Exercise Physiology

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) specialise in the prevention and management of chronic disease or injury. AEPs are university qualified allied health professionals displaying a diverse range of knowledge and skills, working across a variety of areas in the health, exercise and sports science fields.

Our AEPs are members of Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), with strict entry requirements ensuring all AEPs acquire the latest knowledge on how the body works when it moves. With the use of medically recognised training and scientific analysis, AEPs work in conjunction with other health professionals (eg GP, physiotherapist, dietician) to develop tailored exercise programs to meet client’s needs. These specialist exercise programs include exercise delivery, advice, support and a strong focus on successfully changing lifestyle behaviours.

We deliver land-based exercise and hydrotherapy services for the following clients:

  • Aboriginal Health Services
  • Chronic Disease Management
  • Department of Veteran Affairs
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
