Who is an Exercise Physiologist?
Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) specialise in the prevention and management of chronic disease or injury. AEPs are university-qualified Allied Health Professionals with a diverse range of knowledge and skills across various aspects of the health, exercise and sports science fields. AEPs work in conjunction with other treating health professionals including General Practitioners, Physiotherapists and Dieticians to develop a tailored exercise program to meet each client’s needs.
Individualised exercise programs include advice and support during sessions with a strong focus on successfully changing lifestyle behaviours and habit.
